Memorial Day Activewear Sales
I pretty much get all of my activewear between 3 places: Old Navy, American Eagle and Kohl’s. And lucky for me they are all three having great Memorial Day Sales this weekend! If I had to pick, I would rank Old Navy as my top choice based on the level of comfort, style/availability of colors and patterns, and fit. Aerie is a close second, and I love their crop top options and flattering high waisted leggings design, and Kohl’s has name brand options like Nike, Under Armour and Adidas, but Old Navy will probably always sit at the top for me. (I can’t forget Amazon though!). I also love any leggings that have pockets because I am always losing my phone!
This outfit right here is what I LIVE in during the summertime. The shorts are super lightweight and the matching open back tops and sports bras are right up my alley. I love anything that I can match! It makes it so easy to open my drawer, throw this on and head to the park or go run errands in the morning and I don’t end up standing in my closet for 20 minutes trying to figure out what to wear. Lol. Anyone else do that? I mean I literally have a closet full of clothes and I still end up staring at everything and unable to come up with any outfit ideas some days. I love simple, easy, comfortable style, especially in the summer!
Let me first say that I love that these bike shorts have pockets. Hallelujah. Why don’t they make more women’s clothing with pockets?! If it has pockets, I’m usually sold. I will secondly say that I would size up one in the shorts. I am usually an XS in the leggings, but for some reason the bike shorts feel a lot more snug than I typically care for and I kinda wished I had sized up to a Small before wearing and washing. I love the twist back detail of the bra too and I would say get your regular size! (I am wearing a small.)
