2021 Holiday Gift Guide for the Spa + Beauty Lover
Ok so I know I said before that I was the massage lover in our family, buuuuuuuut I’m also the spa and beauty lover too, haha. I guess they kinda go hand in hand so it makes sense, but it’s no secret in my family that I’m all about comfort and self-care. If you were to ask me what my ideal night would be, it would probably look something like this picture below. Haha. Add a cup of tea and Netflix and it could sum me up pretty darn good! Almost all of these products shown are ones I have been gifted or I have bought for myself and they are staples in my self-care/beauty regimen.
Favorite at home spa and beauty products from amazon
Bubble Bath Mat - this bath mat is awesome. I’ve tried a few over the years but this one is really my favorite. I love that it is a single long piece instead of two and it has a lot of suction cups so it won’t slide down. It even has a slight cutout for the curve of the tub so you can lay it flat and it is made from anti-mildew material.
Bamboo Tray - if you know me, you will know that I love to take a hot bubble bath almost every night, so I get some good use out of this thing. Mine has held up for 2+ years and the bamboo hasn’t cracked or dried out! I live in a dry climate as is, so that’s pretty good in my opinion. I love to set my phone and a cup of tea on it and catch up on shows or listen to a podcast while I wind down.
Acupressure Mat - I got this as a gift from my sister for my birthday this year and I love it! It takes a second to get used to, but I don’t mind the sensation and I don’t find it “painful”…I have fallen asleep on it on multiple occasions! Really helps with anxiety and muscle tightness.
EO Diffuser - I have a few essential oil diffusers, and I honestly like them all for different reasons but anything that has a simple design, is easy to clean and won’t require me to take apart a million pieces to fill up is a winner in my book.
Himalayan Salt Lamp - I got a salt lamp from my sister also for my birthday this year and I loved it so much that I bought two more! So now I have one in three different rooms and I love them all. I really like the ones with the rocks because they glow nicely and they get warm and are just really soothing to look at. Plus, salt lamps are known to purify the air so that’s even better!
Light Therapy Mask - I have a light therapy mask that I bought during a sale and I actually got one for my mom and sister because I liked it so much and they love theirs too! Three different settings for acne scarring, acne control and skin tone. Easy to use, no maintenance required and great results.
Anti-Aging Light Wand - this is very similar to the mask, but comes in a wand form to make it portable and easy to travel with. Has three settings for anti-aging, smooth skin, and cleansing properties. Comes with a travel pouch to keep everything together!
High Frequency Wand - My mom gave this to me for my birthday this year after she saw how much I liked hers! It takes a bit of getting used to because the high frequency does feel a little strange at first but there are different levels that you can adjust so that you can start lower and move up to higher frequency once you are acclimated to it. Really good for evening skin tone and for collagen production and reducing fine lines and wrinkles.
Facial Steamer - I. Love. This. Thing. My mom got it for me for Christmas last year and I use it every week. (There was a period of time when I used it every night, so that should tell you how much I like it, haha.) It has three setting for humidifier, towel warmer and steamer, it runs for around 20-30 minutes and feels amazing. Really good price for the product too.
Rotating Exfoliating Brush - I have a similar one to these and it works super well at removing makeup and gives your skin a good, deep clean when you need it. Especially good if you have been out in the sun, at the beach, outside, wearing sunscreen, or dry winter skin has left you feeling tight and itchy.
