2021 Holiday Gift Guide for the Tech Lover
I feel like we all have at least one of these in our family. I would say Cody is probably ours, which makes it super hard to shop for him though because he always knows exactly what he wants and is very specific! I have gotten it right a few times though so I put together some of the best tech-y gifts he has enjoyed.
AMAZON TECH GIFTS
#1 - Amazon Alexa Products
We love Alexa. We talk to her. The kids tell her they love her all the time and we use her everyday! I honestly don’t know if I could go back now that she’s part of our daily life. My favorite feature is probably the timer/alarm. I know it’s simple but it keeps us on schedule for school and reminds me that I have something in the oven when I KNOW I would otherwise forget…and so many more features! We have one in multiple rooms and its the best home accessory in my opinion.
#2 - Bluetooth Speakers
We have a set of these Sonos speakers that we use every single day and my dad has the flickering flame outdoor speaker and they use it every weekend! They love it. It has great sound and such a nice ambience to the table and a little extra light if it’s dark outside.
#3 - Cordless iPhone Charger
We each have one of these by our beds and they are awesome! No more dropping the cord down between the bed at night! Hallelujah! (I will note here that I have a loopy case and I have to take it off for it to charge on the stand) It blinks green if the phone is not properly positioned so you will know if it is not actually charging. Charges fast and acts as a phone stand if you need to charge while on Zoom or FaceTime which is an added bonus.
#4 - Kindle Paperwhite
I bought this for Cody for his birthday and it has been a great purchase! He uses it almost every night and the built in front screen lighting is really good for nighttime reading without giving a glare.
#5 - UV Sanitizing Lights
I got the UV sanitizing box for Cody last year for Christmas because it was 2020…hello… and we put our phones and keys in it all the time! I did some research beforehand it is passed the correct nanometer wavelength standard to properly disinfect surfaces with UV light. Goodbye germs!
